Paint and Sip class – Winter in Florida

Paint & Sip with BigBlackDogStudio at Grand Bay Mobile Home Park’s Club House: Wednesday, December 7 from 7-9pm. Door opens at 6:30 (arrive no later than 6:45 to claim your seat and get settled).

Painting: “Winter in Florida” – Monochromatic study background—you choose your main colour (see samples in photo). On top, we layer on bokeh style bubbles or lights and dangle decorative beads. And since this is Florida and nearing the holidays, our featured ornament is a stylized orange.

Samples shown are a grouping of three oranges or one large ornament, eh, orange.

BYOB, adult party. Feel free to bring snacks. Please RSVP to hold your seat. Must arrive no later than 6:45 to claim your spot, otherwise, seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Looking forward to this fun night with you!

Your background can be any base colour. Some possibilities are……

Sculpture class today

Nemo just loves going with me to teach the sculpture class over at the senior center. Constructed from recycled objects and wrapped up with papier mache like little mummies, after construction and addition of clay details like eyes and toes, we switch to the painting of our little creations.

Class today 6-18

Jo finished her French Bulldog bottle topper in class today. “Little Louie” is a gift for her son whose Frenchie is named “Louie.” She did a great job!

Fun with pet food bags

True to my recycling mantra of “reclaim and reuse,” here are just a few of the recycling projects we’ve used large plastic pet food bags for: three of the aprons for our art class as well as a banner for our table at craft fairs.
