Diva flashback

Oh my goodness. One of the annoying things about having gone through being the recipient of toxic chemicals being pumped directly into your heart (aka chemotherapy) is the memory loss, or rather memory vagueness of my past self. I mean, I can still sit down and type 99 words per minute and Grammar Cop the heck out of anything written, but remembering that I used to sing in a three octave range is sketchy.

Don’t remember what I started looking for on YouTube, but one of my old videos popped up in the search section, which then reminded me I had an old Caffeinated Music YT page (formerly under suzysunshineobx) with music videos I had done to either post songs I liked whilst playing with MovieMaker or to teach my past choirs songs we needed to learn. Anyway. I came across this Mozart piece that I have sung for years and recorded quickly for someone who called me from far away and who needed to learn it quickly so would I please record it for them. Talk about long ago and far away.

Try not to laugh.

Bonnie ♥ – August tour dates

Those of you who already know me know that long before I began my art studio, I was and shall always be a musician. It’s been a long time since I had found a kindred creative spirit, last time being my good friend Robbie back in 2007, but when I moved to my new Florida ‘hood a year ago, I was blessed again – this time to meet Bonnie.

My dogs, especially Nemo and Sparky, and my loaner pup, Rico, all absolutely adore Bonnie. They would leave me for her. But that’s okay, because I always believed in the adage to trust the instincts of animals and small children when it comes to people. Bonnie passes with flying colours on that test.

Our BFF Bonnie is a musician (singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer & more) who performs in a wide variety of venues playing many different styles of music. She is getting ready to start her August tour dates in NYC and we put together this video for her Kickstarter.com page:
