Finished Orange Grove mural

Finished up the Orange Grove storefront mural at SJ’s International Food Market at 1108 Overcash Drive in Dunedin, Florida over Thanksgiving weekend. This area of town used to be part of a large orange grove back in the day. Dunedin is known as a very…

Starting new mural

SJ International Food Market has opened in Dunedin, Florida and the owner, Som, has asked me to paint a mural on the front windows. There is an orange grove going across the entire front and then a few other key focal points. I had…

Upscale Resale Update

I almost forgot to post the finished border and sign posts on Janice’s store!

Personalized artwork

I recently made these these pieces for some boater friends that I wanted to share. I love making artwork personalized like this because it’s not just the “same old” anyone can pick up in a retail store but specific to the tastes and interests…

Storefront windows: happy splashes

I love my friend Renee. Among other cool things about her, she has fabulous taste in decor and always finds the neatest items to sell in her store. In preparation for her big 50% off everything in the store sale tomorrow, I put up…

Upscale Resale storefront windows

In between rain showers and the humidity, it took me more than normal time to paint Janice’s windows, but they are up and done. I think I will be going back and adding a top border with leopard print…. and possibly doing the same…

Dogtoberfest 2014

Had a great time with the humans here in Dogedin. Not only did Charlie and I stop in to the kissing booth at Pawlicious Poochie Pet Rescue’s hot pink tent, but the Doxie sculptures were auctioned off to help raise money for Suncoast Animal…

Cherry Blossoms window

I painted the storefront windows at SomSom’s handmade boutique here in town. We did a pair of Sakura, or Japanese Cherry Blossom, trees and butterflies.

Storefront window: shore birds

My theme for the window was shore birds. Dunedin, Florida has State Park beaches kept in their naturalized state and are just gorgeous. Here on Second Time Treasures‘ storefront are some of the critters we did for this season.

Turkey on the window

Updated my neighbor’s storefront window by changing out the hobgoblin in the far corner to a turkey: Being a country girl, yes, I do know what a real wild turkey looks like! But for a storefront window, greyish-black is really kind of boring 😀

Autumn storefront

Updated my friend Renee’s store windows this morning with the addition of some autumnal colours:

Mural

It’s wisteria in the dressing room/guest bath at Renee’s SecondTimeTreasures.com now. Her dad is 80 years old and he requested a monkey be included, sooooooo……… there’s a monkey!

Store decor

Spent some time the last two days doing some decorative painting for my neighbor’s new consignment shop: faux frames around mirrors, a few signs, an end-cap camouflage and the storefront windows, to be exact! Second Time Treasures opens July 1 at 2116 Main Street,…
