Daisy and Dub finished

The pair of Cocker Spaniels is finished! Thank you to Pat for allowing me to create these memorial pieces of her beloved fur family ♥

Pat’s husband’s little Buddy (a/k/a Dub) measures 15″ high by 11″ wide and Pat’s girl Daisy measures 21″ long by 12″ high.

Cocker Spaniel – Daisy

Daisy was a friend’s beloved Buff Cocker Spaniel who was her sidekick everywhere. Still some more work to go, but here are some progress shots:

Boxers – in progress

A pair of life-sized Boxers is in the works – blast this infuriating humidity, though! Here the boys are coming along as their ears dry in the breeze of my fan. 😀

Sculpture class today

Nemo just loves going with me to teach the sculpture class over at the senior center. Constructed from recycled objects and wrapped up with papier mache like little mummies, after construction and addition of clay details like eyes and toes, we switch to the painting of our little creations.

Class today 6-18

Jo finished her French Bulldog bottle topper in class today. “Little Louie” is a gift for her son whose Frenchie is named “Louie.” She did a great job!

Art class today

Here’s a shot of the class just as they are beginning to paint their papier mache creations – we had two dogs, a piggy and a butterfly going on down at the Dunedin Senior Center. Due to the Toronto Blue Jays beginning their spring training across the street at the stadium, we’ll pick up Friday morning class again come March. I hope to have at least four people in our next class, too! This has been great!!
